Amanda’s Art Classes take place in North Ascot, Berkshire. The atmosphere is informal and the groups are small, in order for the students to benefit from more individual attention. The classes explore a wide range of subjects using a variety of mediums enabling students to discover what suits them best.
A graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art where she did a B.A Honours Degree in the History of Art, Amanda then gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Illustration and Printmaking at the City and Guilds of London Art School. She has worked as an art historian for both academic institutions and major commercial galleries in London and has been published regularly in Country Life, The Antique Collector and Apollo magazines.
Amanda’s own work is inspired primarily by landscape and architecture and she often works in mixed media combining painting with collage. She is also a keen printmaker, favouring linocut. She has participated in several group shows as well as held solo exhibitions.
